The best thing we serve isn’t on the menu. It’s the people in our community! We’re happy to partner to with Camp Happy Days, a local program focused on changing the lives of children with cancer. Our partnership with Camp Happy Days dates back almost 15 years and is one of our core charities. In fact, our very own Chip Roberts is also a member of the Board of Directors. Accommodating over 550 children each year, Camp Happy Days hosts children with cancer all across South Carolina free of charge! The week is full of exciting adventures for campers and their families including tubing, fishing, painting, and a talent show!
Over the span of three days during the camp, our team, plus our food truck The Chicken Coupe, served over 1,300 meals for campers, family members, and volunteers. Each person received three different meals including the choice of wraps, sandwiches, Bobby Fries, and of course, nuggets!
Many of our Kickin’ Chicken employees not only work in The Chicken Coupe, but are also volunteers. While camp may be just a week long event, we support their amazing work all year long. Our mission statement is commitment, customer, and community and therefore, contributing to the neighborhood is a top priority!
